I designed and made my first piece of jewellery at the age of 9, three bangles locked together with a heart that I never took off. But my passion for jewellery started even earlier. I was known in the family for always being up to my elbows in bangles, with big earrings on my little ears. But jewellery wasn't just decoration-it was a part of me, a way to express my joy and curiosity.
The bracelet my grandmother gave me when I turned 16 powered me through countless challenges, a reminder of her strength and convictions, though sadly l've lost it now. A beautiful sapphire and ruby pendant given to me by my aunt I hold dear to my heart to this day. The earrings my father gifted me when I got my first real job were ones I had admired for so long-he gave them to me simply because he knew how much I loved them. My mom’s bow diamond ring that I adore and enjoy wearing to this day. These pieces, like all my jewellery, became reminders of something only I know-moments, feelings, and dreams that are deeply personal.
Thirty-five years later, here’s the story of Tujla. A childhood fascination with beauty and a life long passion. Today, I channel that same curiosity and love for design into creating pieces that offer the same quiet intimacy, crafted to accompany women as they live their stories, holding close the memories and meanings that are uniquely theirs.
